  • NAVAL ARCHITECT: 3 Month Course
    Naval architecture also known as naval engineering is an engineering discipline dealing with the design, construction, maintenance and operation of marine vessels and structures or repair of ships, boats, other marine vessels, and offshore structures, both commercial and military, including. A naval architect is an engineer who is responsible for the design, construction, naval architecture is a subdivision of engineering that deals with the design, fabrication, conservation and operation of marine vessels and structures, which can be used in water. These professionals are concerned with designing and developing marine vessels.
    Naval architecture involves basic and applied research, design, development, design evaluation and calculations during all stages of the life of a marine vehicle. Preliminary design of the vessel, its detailed design, construction, trials, operation and maintenance, launching and dry-docking are the main activities involved. Ship design calculations are also required for ships being modified (by means of conversion, rebuilding, modernization, or repair). Naval architecture also involves formulation of safety regulations and damage control rules and the approval and certification of ship designs to meet statutory and non-statutory requirements.
    Education Qualification- Candidates must have passed 12th standard with PCM from any recognized Educational Board along with individually passing English, math, science subjects with not less than 60% marks and aggregate minimum 60% marks.Age Limit-17.5 Years to 25 yearsPhysical Standards- Medically fit as per the standards set by M.   • BSC ( NAUTICAL SCIENCE ) 3 year ( 6 Semester)
    The three year B.Sc. Nautical Science course is approved by the Directorate General of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, Government of India. It is a course leading to Second Mate’s Foreign-Going Certificate of Competency awarded by the D.G. Shipping after 12 months of Sea Service, Enabling the cadets to become Navigating officers on board Merchant Navy Ships worldwide. The three year B.Sc., Nautical Science course is strictly residential.

  • DNS ( DIPLOMA NAUTICAL SCIENCE ) 12 Month

    The one Year DNS Course is a course leading to B.Sc., Nautical Science after 18 months of On-Board Training and also leading to 2nd Mate Foreign going Certificate of competency awarded by the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India, enabling the cadets to become Navigating officers on board Merchant Naval Ships anywhere in the world.   • HND (HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA) NAUTICAL SCIENCE 24 Month

  • GME (GRADUATE MARINE ENGINEERING) 1 year

    A one year Graduate Marine Engineering (GME) course after mechanical engineering would give students the license to enter merchant navy. This one year GME course is basic requirement to become a marine engineer after doing mechanical engineering. After successful completion of course, trainee will get joining as a fifth Engineer. After passing GME course trainee will get the necessary certification approved by Directorate General of Shipping.Eligibility Criteria- Candidate should have B.E. / B.Tech., in Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture with minimum 60% marks in final year. The candidate should have obtained at least 60 % in English at 10th or 12th standard, or degree course.Age Limit- 17.5 Years to 25 years Physical Standards- Medically fit as per the standards set by M.   • ETO (Electrical Technical Officer)

    Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) officer is responsible for the maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment. Engineering Officers are responsible for operating the propulsion plants and support systems on board crew, passengers and cargo seafaring vessels or other watercraft. 4th engineer shall report to the 2nd Engineer Ship engineers are responsible for propulsion and other ship systems such as electrical power generation plant, lighting, fuel oil, lubrication, water distillation and separation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and water systems on board the vessel. The ETO is responsible for the handle and repair of all electrical and electronic equipment, installations and machinery. This also includes radio communications and electronic navigation aids. Electro-Technical officers are engineer officers, works under the Chief Engineer.Eligibility Criteria- Graduation in BE (Mechanical) Engineering / Naval Architecture with minimum marks of 60% in final year Must have minimum 60% marks in English language at 10th or 12th (PCM)Must not be more than 28 years oldAge Limit- 17.5 Years to 25 years Physical Standards- Medically fit as per the standards set by M.   • B.TECH MARINE ENGINEER 4 YEAR ( 8 SEMESTER )

    B.Tech Marine Engineer ( 5th Engineer ) is responsible for the maintenance of operating the propulsion plants and operate life saving appliances , control fight fires on board , pollution and support systems on board crew, passengers and cargo seafaring vessels or other watercraft . After completing the course candidates will join as 5th Engineer . After completed the sea time of 5th engineer they get promoted for the next level like 4th engineer and then 2nd and Chief Engineer on ship.Eligibility Criteria- Must have minimum 60% marks in English language in 10th or 12th (PCM)Age Limit17.5 Years to 25 years Physical Standards- Medically fit as per the standards set by M.
